Renewing Your LicenseInsurance agents and brokers must complete 24 credits of continuing education every two years, which must include 3 credits on ethics, to maintain their license. Note: You are not allowed to complete more than 8 credits in any one day. We are an approved license examination provider offering classes that meet the continuing education requirements set forth by the State of Washington. Initially all individual licenses, regardless of the issue date, expire on the individual's next birthday plus one year, and every two years thereafter. A notice and renewal form is sent to the licensee's last address of record approximately two months prior to the license expiration date. However, it is the licensee's obligation to renew even if no notice is received. The renewal form is required when renewing your license. If you do not receive your notice and form, call the Insurance Commissioner Licensing Section at 360-725-7144. |
